Maren, Lymalu and Carrie, are three sisters, living in three different states. We have a combined total of 15 kids with one on the way:)
Maren and Carrie started the SahmSisters blog as a blogspot.com in 2008, after reading about a woman whose blog had become an overnight sensation. Maren, whose honest opinion is that she is fabulous, thought to herself, I could SO do that!
Over the next few years, the blog went along, with Maren and Carrie blogging when the mood struck, and Lymalu jumping in to help occasionally.
In January 2011, we decided to get serious. We got ourselves a webhost, learned a bunch of Very Complicated Stuff, and landed here. Lymalu saw we were not a sinking ship and came aboard.
We all have assigned turns on the Home page, Maren blogging on Mondays and Wednesdays, Carrie sharing on Tuesdays and Thurdays and Lymalu doing her thing on Fridays.
We keep an eye out for anything Extra and Interesting and add to that page as we are inspired, same with SahmSisters Bookclub and Cooking. So check in once a week or so there.
The Etsy shop is our latest inspiration and we’re of course planning to make a million bucks with our oh-so-cute crafty crap:)

We all live in the mountain west and enjoy blogging together as a way of staying close. We see each other as much as we can and have quickly jumped on any form of communication that means we get to chat with each other more.
